A wine tasting, but softer around the edges.
Join us at Something Good Workshops in Deptford for Good Wine, an evening where wine tasting and drawing are interwoven throughout, creating a relaxed, social space to slow down and engage your senses.
This is not a formal wine class or a traditional art workshop. It’s something in between, designed to feel welcoming, unpretentious, and easy to step into.
You’ll be guided through a tasting of at least five wines (100ml pours) by our in-house wine guide, Jack Wild. The focus is simple: helping you understand what you actually like, without jargon or pressure.
Between tastings, we’ll move into a series of gentle, playful still life drawing exercises using crayons and pastels. No experience needed, this is about loosening up, tuning in, and enjoying the process rather than getting anything “right”.
Wine and drawing are paired throughout the evening, creating a natural rhythm - sip, pause, notice, draw.

🍷 About Jack
Jack has worked in wine and restaurants for the entirety of his career and is particularly passionate about the democratisation of wine (and conversely Champagne - but aren’t we all hypocrites?).
Working with Boutinot, he’s helped shape the wine list behind our bar. His approach is relaxed, informative, and rooted in helping people discover what they genuinely enjoy.
