The sixth edition of Music is Love continues its journey in Margate with a special night of live Afrobeat, reggae, dub and jungle — bringing together musicians, selectors and music lovers for another celebration of sound, culture and community. All on Margate Arts Club's world class sound system and in its legendary cosy, good vibes atmosphere.
Taking centre stage is Bakk Lamp Fall, an incredible seven-piece Afrobeat and Afro-jazz band delivering a powerful live set full of rhythm, groove and spiritual energy. They’ll be joined by a superb lineup of local and international selectors, moving through reggae, dub, jungle and sounds from across the African and Caribbean diaspora.
Music is Love brings people together through sound — where African, Caribbean and global influences meet, overlap and evolve into a shared language of movement and joy. Expect an intergenerational dancefloor, deep selections and live performance, all rooted in connection, discovery and pure dancefloor energy.
