Music is Love 4 Daytime Dance
Margate Arts Club
From 3pm, 25th April 2026
DANCING • UNITY • FOOD • LOVE
The fourth edition of Music is Love continues its journey in Margate—rooted in a growing local community and now hosted at the iconic Margate Arts Club for the very first time. Expect a uniquely curated lineup of artists pushing sound across cultures, and the same radiant spirit: an intergenerational dancefloor built on connection, culture and community.
Music is Love brings people together through sound—where African, Caribbean and global influences meet, overlap and evolve in a shared language of movement and joy. From live performance to deep DJ selections, every moment is about togetherness, discovery, and pure dancefloor energy.
And to complete the experience, we’re honoured to host Senegalese cuisine courtesy of Little Baobab Restaurant (The Africa Centre, Southwark). Sharing the spirit of Teranga—Senegalese hospitality—through rich, vibrant dishes, bringing people together through food, culture and connection alongside the music.
This edition features an extraordinary lineup:
Afro-futurist kora virtuoso Jally Kebba Susso—founding member of Afriquoi and Musical & Cultural Ambassador of The Gambia—channels 74 generations of griot heritage while expanding its boundaries, blending Mandinka tradition with jazz, blues, Afro-funk and electronic sound. His collaborations with Thakzin, Dark Sky and Anushka reflect a global, forward-facing musical vision.
Saf Sap!—MIL founders Falle Nioke and Solta Sound—merge West African musical tradition with UK bass culture, blending live vocals, ancestral instruments and original production across Afro house, jungle, DnB and dubstep into a vibrant, rhythm-driven experience.
Geoffrey Chambers fuses Caribbean-rooted sound, performance and visual art—founder of reggae collective Dread in Brasil and the first British artist to lead a Salvador Carnival trio elétrico truck—channeling Afro-surrealism, diasporic culture, deep musicality and storytelling through beautiful, melodic vocals.
Moa is a multi-instrumentalist and composer weaving West African kora, Swedish folk and layered guitar with ethereal vocals—crafting intimate, poetic soundscapes where traditions meet and new forms emerge.
DJ Juba aka Leon Williams brings irresistible percussive energy and global dancefloor heat, moving seamlessly through Afro Latin rhythms, Cuban salsa, Cape Verdean zouk and Afro-Peruvian soul—infused with live percussion and a deep-rooted connection to rhythm and movement.
Brandan Pinto is a Goa-born DJ and producer blending deep, tribal and progressive house, with over 17 years’ experience delivering dynamic, energising sets shaped by global club residencies.
TBX the DJ is a dynamic open-format selector, known for high-energy sets and a sharp instinct for reading the room, delivering a pure fire Music is Love selection.
Music is Love 4 is a living, breathing celebration of unity through music—where cultures meet, sounds evolve, and community thrives.
See you on the dancefloor!
