Join us on Tuesday 28th April at 7:30pm as we welcome back multi award winning comedian, author, broadcaster & bibliomaniac Robin Ince to Kirkdale Bookshop with his new collection of poetry - Let the Quiet Ones Rise: Poems About Standing Up and Standing Out!

A collection of instinctual poetry from the deepest part of a neurodivergent heart, considering the sadness of being alone, but also the happiness of finding people who empower you.

Mixing his trademark comedy and poetry with themes of activism, loneliness and love - this collection of poems and stories come from being a shy child, into horror movies and Doctor Who, and from the transition into a middle aged person who finally became strong enough to resign from the job he loved, because he needed to speak out about a culture of power and abuse.

Author of books Bibliomaniac, Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal and two collections of poetry, this will be Robin's third time at Kirkdale and we can't wait!
