Mosaic Works IBM Work Experience Day & Picnic
Are you LGBT+, 18-25, and looking to break into the tech industry?
Join Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons' Trust at IBM for an immersive half-day work experience at the IBM office in Waterloo/South Bank. IBM is one of the largest tech companies in the world, and behind the work of the tech such as the first smartphones, ATMs, video game console and medical technology components, bar codes, credit and debit cards, and more.
We will meet members of the team (including members of the LGBT+ employee resource group at IBM and their early careers team), participate in an agile workshop and technology demos, and see Spot, the world-famous robot dog from Boston Dynamics. After the half-day work experience, we will have a vegan picnic lunch in the Jubilee Gardens (just a 3-minute walk from the IBM office), weather permitting. Food and drinks will be provided.
Accessibility: The IBM office is wheelchair accessible with an accessible loo. See access information for Jubilee gardens here. If you require a travel bursary to be able to attend, please contact sierra.raposo@mosaictrust.org.uk.
