The River Returns Home - Immersive Performance
OPEN MIC + The River Returns Home - Part of Hold Space Poetry Festival
For our 6th day of open mic we will be closing off the evening with an incredible immersive performance.
In this performance set in The Crypt Gallery underneath St Pancras Church, three boundary-defying artists will weave together poetry, music, sound and visual arts to celebrate life amid darkness. Within this unique historical location, they will take the audience on a journey that emphasises hope, rebirth and light.
This event is part of the Hold Space Poetry Festival (1-7 April 2026) organised by Let’s Make Poetry Weird Again, a week of free events, workshops and poetry open mics.
There will also be a possibility to donate to a Ukrainian humanitarian charity project (QR codes will be provided at the venue).
