Here Lies Babs Romance: From MP to RIP
Here lies beloved ex-MP Babs Romance. Her seat is cold, but she’s even colder. With the help of sprightly funeral director Pearl Laceneck, Babs is pulling the biggest stunt of her career yet: her own assassination.
But the bumping off goes awry. News of Babs’ death spreads across Britain, and the voting public couldn’t be more chuffed. As street parties erupt, the mission to rebuild her legacy begins.
Inspired by national treasures lost, she wants to instil pity in the hearts of the nation, and become the People’s Politician again. One funeral at a time.
Will the right honourable old bird die quietly? Or will this phoenix soar with only her right wing?
