Give More, Take Less: Bracelet Making Workshop
What does it mean to give without expectation? In this hands-on craft-based gathering, participants will intentionally create beaded bracelets to exchange with a randomly assigned partner. The session opens with guided icebreaker questions to help you get acquainted before you begin making — reflecting on the qualities and connections you wish to cultivate in your community. Participants will leave with a new bracelet.
Once exchanges are complete, the space opens up for free crafting, socializing, and games.
No crafting experience needed.
In this workshop you will:
• Answer guided questions to get to know your bracelet exchange partner
• Create beaded bracelets with intention
• Reflect on the attributes and relationships you want to nurture in community
⏰ We suggest arriving at 2:00pm to ease into icebreakers and get settled. The workshop begins promptly at 2:40pm. Late attendees are warmly welcome — we’ll gently catch you up on arrival.
The cafe will be open during trading hours with vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore options available, as well as a selection of specialty hot and iced drinks, fresh juices and snacks throughout the event.
If cost is a barrier, please dm us on Instagram or TikTok for a free Community Care ticket — no one should have to miss out.
