We are only a month and a half out to opening London’s newest third space, craft cafe, and wine bar in Hackney Wick, and we need YOUR HELP!
As we are self funding the renovation process, we are doing a lot of the physical work ourselves (which means a lot of late nights and aching muscles). As opening gets closer and closer, it’s becoming clear we need more hands on deck! When thinking about building a space FOR the community, BY the community, we realized how special it would be to have people come in before we open our doors and be a part of the humble beginnings :)
Playing on the stereotypes that our FLINTA community loves to U-Haul and loves to renovate, we decided to play to our community’s strengths and host a renovation social! Come get your hands dirty, prime some walls, stain some wood, plaster some holes, or just come be a cheerleader and watch some hot gay people at work. All tickets will come with a free drink (both alcoholic and non alcoholic options available) and are completely free, because you are helping US!!! And who knows, maybe you’ll meet your new best friend, the love of your life, or just shake ass to a fire playlist (you can’t go wrong).
