WILD PAVEMENTS - an urban walk with Amanda Tuke and Bookseller Crow
Join nature writer and urban naturalist Amanda Tuke on the summer solstice for a relaxed walk around the streets close to the bookshop. We will go in search of the fascinating wild plants and other wildlife which find a home on our pavements and you'll learn to see the ground beneath your feet in a wonderful new way. No prior plant or other nature knowledge is needed.
The walk will conclude with a drinks reception (tea or fizz with biscuits) at 3.30pm back in the events space at Bookseller Crow. While you sip your drink, there will be a short reading from Amanda's new book Wild Pavements - Exploring Britain's Cities with an Urban Naturalist plus a chance to get a signed copy.
The walk will last around an hour so wear comfy shoes. There are limited spaces for the walk, so please do book early. If you wish to attend just the talk and drinks refreshment at the bookshop, there are tickets available for this option too.
