We’re thrilled to announce the return of SketchSesh! at The Divine, featuring an emotive life drawing session with the extraordinary artist and singer-songwriter Fi McCluskey as our muse.
The session will be led by artist James Davison, who will guide you through the evening with demonstrations exploring drawing across a variety of media. Fi will present a series of dynamic, evocative poses, interacting with the set and using painted textiles created by the SketchSesh studio to drape and sculpt the human body.
Expect a fun, creative, and experimental atmosphere where energy and enthusiasm are encouraged and nurtured.
As always, materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or completely new to life drawing, this promises to be an unmissable celebration of creativity, community, and artistic expression. Materials include hand-painted papers, coloured pencils, pastels and charcoal.
We offer a two-tiered payment option with allocated tickets for each, to help keep these sessions sustainable, ensuring fair pay for our models and hosts. We’re very grateful to those who are able to contribute a little extra.
See you there!
SketchSesh!
Please note: this session will be documented through film and photography.
