this listing is a save the date - no need to get a ticket - seats will be first come first served on the day
Come down to the bar on Monday evenings for our free films series! This week we are showing Lizzie Borden's Born in Flames – a dystopian, post-punk documentary-style film set ten years after a peaceful socialist revolution in the US. The film explores the failures of this new society to deliver equality, following diverse, radicalized women’s groups—including a "Women's Army"—who use pirate radio and direct action to combat persistent sexism, racism, and classism.
We will be screening it in the garden! We have heaters, blankets, and drinks specials… Happy hour from 4pm-7pm.
Please note, as this is a free screening, seats will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We will do out best to fit as many people as possible, and you're welcome to stand to watch the film if all the seats fill up, but do come down early if you'd like a guaranteed seat <3
