Fundraiser screening of "We Won't Be Silent, Resisting The UK's Arms Trade With Israel".
Ticket monies will go to the International Solidarity Movement. A P^lestinian-led movement committed to resisting the long-entrenched and systematic oppression and dispossession of the P^lestinian population, using non-violent, direct-action methods and principles. Volunteers with ISM go to P^lestine to act as witnesses and provide testimony of the violence enacted by settlers and the state.
After the screening, we will have a short Q&A with director Medyan Dairieh and a representative from the Stop L3Harris Campaign as well as a prisoner letter-writing workshop on following the regulations for contacting people imprisoned by the British state for resistance against the arms trade.

✋Please do not attend if you have any viral symptoms. This will be a mask enforced event; wear FFP2 or better. Masks will be provided on the door and HEPA filters will run throughout the event.
🍿Food and drinks are available to purchase but please don't take your mask off inside the venue. There will be breaks for going outside for eating and drinking.

The award-winning journalist and film documentary maker, Medyan Daireh (@medyan_dairieh) shines a light on the impact of our local Brighton arms factory in Moulsecoomb and the years of resistance against it.
This screening is in collaboration with StopL3Harris - the campaign against the local Brighton L3Harris arms factory which is the only place in the world that makes bomb release mechanisms for the F-35 planes used by Isra-hell to bomb P^lestine.
