Jane Wong
Constellations of Memory
Online workshop | 13 June 2026 | 18.00-20.00 (BST) 10.00-12.00 (PDT)
Victoria Chang writes: "If I could dip my hand in, I will change history." How can we dip our hands into memory–then, now, and in the future? Working through familial and historical archives, this generative workshop engages how we can constellate our memories across time. Through readings and guided exercises, we will write, share, and draw connections with each other.
Optional: bring archival materials with you (i.e. photographs, clothing, seeds, food, documents, etc.).
Jane Wong is the author of the memoir Meet Me Tonight in Atlantic City (Tin House, 2023). She also wrote two poetry collections: How to Not Be Afraid of Everything (Alice James, 2021) and Overpour (Action Books, 2016). Her poetry installations which engage haunting and nourishment have been exhibited at the Frye Art Museum, the Richmond Art Gallery, and the Asian Art Museum.
