The Divine Fringe Presents…
Corí Douglas Needs a Soul is a solo cabaret performance about heartbreak, identity, and the strange process of trying to become whole while feeling split between too many versions of yourself. As Corí moves through intimacy, self-sabotage, memory and emotional collapse, different aspects of his inner world begin to surface and take shape around him. The boundaries between thought, memory and performance become increasingly unstable, creating a world where identity feels fluid, fragmented and constantly in motion.
The show blends live vocals, original music, spoken word, movement and cabaret into something that moves between ritual, confession and surreal performance. Although performed by one person, unseen voices and off-stage presences to constantly intrude into Corí’s world, giving the piece the feeling of a much larger cast.
Tender, chaotic and emotionally raw, Corí Douglas Needs a Soul asks what happens when becoming yourself feels less like self-discovery and more like reconstruction.

Accessibility:
Sadly both floors of the divine are not currently accessible as we do not have a lift.
The ground floor, main bar of the divine has level access.
There is an accessible toilet in the main bar.
The cabaret and club space are in the basement of the venue, there is no lift.
There are 17 wide steps down to the basement with handrails on either side, this is where the show will take place.
There are two sets of gender-neutral toilets downstairs, they are not wide enough for wheelchairs.
