Want to learn How to Enter the Art World after a late start, a first career, illness, raising children, a crisis of confidence, leaving it in disgust?
Join us at Porthmeor Studios for an informal daytime event with Hettie Judah answering questions about the art world and navigating a creative life.
The session will open with short presentations from four locally based artists (TBA!), each of whom will share their recent and current work. The presentations will be followed by an open, hour long Q&A with Hettie Judah, offering the audience a chance to ask questions and take part in a wider conversation.
The end of the session will be an opportunity for conversation between participants, refreshments, and a book signing.
Thursday 18 June, 10am - 12pm
The After Sessions are small, local, events held in the spirit Hettie Judah's new book 'How to Enter the Art World After' - each session starts with presentations with local artists, followed by a relaxed Q&A seated in a circle, ending with time to chat over refreshments and a book signing. Every event will be different - different art, different artists, different questions.
