London Dyke March has been invited by The Photographers Gallery to host a social and private view of their exhibition We Others: Donna Gottschalk and Hélène Giannecchini .
We have space for 70 people to get FREE access to an exhibition that would usually set you back £8.50 and is closing soon on the 7th June!
It's a bit different from our normal pub socials but come join us to see some dyke photography, listen to a dyke curator do a guided tour and hang out of course, with some dykes.
What is the exhibition all about?
Involved in the early lesbian, trans and gay rights movements, Donna Gottschalk's intimate photographs of the daily lives of her chosen family – friends, lovers, siblings and fellow activists – are a tender portrait of people living on the margins. At a time when gay relationships were still illegal in the US, she described the people she photographed as ‘brave and defiant warriors.’
We'll have some interactive drop-in creative activities for you to get stuck into, facilitated by @rough.edges.arts inspired by the collection.
Coming alone or for the first time to our events? Join our WhatsApp group if you want to meet other people going.

The gallery also has a sexy autofoto booth for you to take some of your own snaps on film.
Please share far and wide so we can pack out the place and get as many dykes as possible seeing some cool art for free!
