this one’s a little different… Instead of us bringing the craft, you do.
bring whatever you’ve been meaning to start, finish, or finally rescue from your procrastination pile: knitting, sketching, journaling, embroidery, collage, mending, painting, or any other silly little craft you're currently obsessed with.
this isn’t a workshop. there’s no structure, no expectations, no pressure to be “good” at anything. It’s simply a cozy, screen-free creative hang, a space to sit around a table with a room full of like-minded people, get your hands busy, ignore your phone, and exist together for a few hours.
whether you’re deep in a masterpiece or just bringing a needle and thread to fix a hole in your sock, there’s space for it all.
💭 come for:
- finally tackling that project you keep avoiding.
- a much-needed break from the black rectangle of doom.
- meeting a brilliant, chaotic network of creative people.
- doing something tactile while chatting the evening away.
🌈 the vibe:
- zero pressure.
- queer-friendly, inclusive & welcoming.
- soft, social, and unapologetically chaotic.
- come exactly as you are.
✨ this session is entirely free to attend, because everyone deserves a place to unwind regardless of financial status. That said, if you have the means and want to support us in keeping these nights alive, we have a "pay what you can" ticket option. Spikes, tools, and securing venues take resources, and any contribution goes right back into keeping the club sustainable. Absolutely no pressure either way, we are just happy to have you with us.
accessibility
Unfortunately this venue has no step-free access.
✂️ about the silly little craft club
We’re two friends (Lara & Pat) who love nothing more than sitting around the kitchen table, chatting, unwinding, and doing silly little crafts for our silly mental health. It has become a small but joyful ritual, and we’d love to share that connection with more people.
We crave doing things with our hands, experimenting new techniques, without the pressure of making things perfect. We want to create a space where we’re able to fail and try again, surrounded by people who value the same things as us: creating more, and consuming less. For the sheer pleasure of making stuff. So we started a craft club! If this sounds like you, join us!!
We set up monthly sessions where we try new things together and we are building a little crafty community on Whatsapp where we share projects and stay in touch. Even if you can’t make this session you can join the group here!
