Just two sleeps before the Dyke March, Sapphoes returns for an evening of flirting, friendship, and chaos.
Sapphoes is a sultry, playful pop-up bar bringing a touch of cocktail culture to the London queer scene. Think low lighting, good music, and lingering eye contact across the room, in a space that feels effortlessly cool and entirely ours.
Created by and for dykes, lesbians, and the wider FLINTA* community, Sapphoes is all about connection. Come alone or with friends; there’ll be gentle icebreakers, activities, and plenty of opportunities to connect without pressure. This is a social, so come ready to chat, relax and laugh, but there will be music and room to dance as the night goes on.
Expect:
🍒 Sapphic themed cocktail menu
🍒 Free tarot readings
🍒 Wristbands to let others know if you’re single
🍒 Quiz & games with prizes
🍒 Opportunities to make friends to go to the Dyke March with!
SAPPHOES is a safe space for queer and trans women of all presentations, and AFAB non binary people. Trans men are also welcome. We ask that cis men and straight women please do not attend.
Access: Damsel Collective is accessed via 3 steps at the entrance, and there is a temporary ramp available for wheelchair users. There is also an accessible loo. The event is a mixture of seated and standing - if you require a seat for access reasons please send us a message and we'll reserve one for you. We will not ask for proof of disability.
Low Income & Pay-It-Forward Tickets: We don’t believe income should be a barrier to community, so for those really struggling financially, a limited number of guest list tickets are available no questions asked - just DM us. If you’re able to pay a little more, choosing a pay-it-forward ticket helps subsidise more low income tickets and makes the event more accessible for others.
