Would you read your teenage diary aloud to a room full of people?
LGBTQIA+ folks are doing just that at Queer Diary: the night where we share our teenage diaries, poetry, fanfic, and other coming-of-age era scribblings 👀
At Queer Diary the goths, the punks, the emos, the nerds, the glee-clubbers (and maybe a few populars?) come together as grown-ups, to share our younger selves' innermost thoughts via old diary entries, fanfiction stories, tumblr posts, and possibly the odd bit of cringey poetry 👀
To take part by reading your teenage diary - or poetry, or fanfic, on the mic check our FAQs & get in touch via our sign-up form. NOTE: readers confirmed in advance don't need a ticket to attend, but spots are limited: sign up ASAP to secure your spot!

Location & Access:
- CAMP is step-free with an accessible toilet.
- The entrance door is 95cm wide. There are bi-fold doors at the entrance which can be opened to increase the entrance width.
- Further details on access at CAMP, including parking/travel options, on their website: https://www.campmargate.com/accessibility
- Seating will be unreserved as standard. The space can get busy, so if you're coming with friends, arrive early to make sure you can sit together.
- We ask all readers to give a visual description of themself when arriving on stage, to make this event more accessible for blind and visually impaired audience members.

The general tone of the event is light-hearted, but some readings may touch on themes such as bullying, internalised homophobia, underage drinking, etc, and there will almost certainly be swearing and sexual references.
