💥WIP IT UP: An Edinburgh Preview Showcase!!💥
Six shows. One night. A Community Heading to Edinburgh.
Join us for WIP IT UP, an exciting showcase of new theatre featuring extracts from six productions making their way to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this Summer. This special fundraising show offers audiences the rare opportunity to catch these shows before they arrive on one of the world's biggest stages.
Whether you're a Fringe regular, a lover of new writing, or simply passionate about supporting independent artists, WIP IT UP is your chance to discover bold new work while helping artists on their journey to the Fest.
Featuring Extracts from:
✨John and Christian: Teenage Heartthrobs
✨Succubus (Halfway Productions)
✨Lady Bolognese: Class War
✨You Are What You Eat (Beautiful Death Theatre Company)
✨Jealousy Play (Lockdown Projections Theatre Company)
✨Bloody Mary(s) (Blue Fire Theatre Company)
The Edinburgh Fringe can be one of the most exciting opportunities in an artist's career, but it can also be one of the most financially challenging. WIP IT UP celebrates the spirit of collaboration that makes independent theatre possible, bringing together artists, audiences and supporters for one night of performance, connection and community.
All proceeds from ticket sales will support Lockdown Projections Theatre Company's debut Edinburgh Fringe run of Jealousy Play, helping cover the costs of taking new work to the festival while creating further opportunities as an organisation.
Come and be part of the journey. Support new work. Champion independent theatre. See these shows before they reach Edinburgh.
