£13 Advance - £15 On The Door - Accessible Venue
Integrating years of experience as a sound designer, performer, producer and artist Celyn Of Gwent's latest performance work pools together electronica, underground club culture, queer performance art, spoken word poetry, field recordings, and the traditional music of the British Isles.
Perpetually disintegrating boundaries with each new project, their new album Dying and Rising explores the collective feeling of civilisation teetering on a knife's edge with everything to gain or lose, as we are rocked by social uncertainty, economic instability and looming climate change.
A nexus between things old and new, Celyn of Gwent is a queer bard for the anthropocene.
"A deep-rooted connection to Welsh heritage through their powerful and evocative music." - Buzz Mag
"A unique talent in multiple art forms." - Dom Ansell (Roundhouse)
Kylie Monologue is a London-based producer who creates tunes that are equally danceable and introspective, sitting somewhere between 90s IDM and sounds akin to early Human League. Almost immediately after deciding to teach herself Ableton, she released ambient piece Terry + Keith in January 2023.
She's been relentless ever since, producing increasingly excellent records (huge fan of her most recent album the body keeps the score), and performing live sets on stages alongside artists including Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan, Big Lad, Loula Yorke, Pye Corner Audio, Polypores, and Poly-Math.
"An eternally rotating conveyor-belt of adjunct loops, all cast in that wonderful cloak of ephemeral reverb." - Means Magazine
"Melodic and adventurous" - The Progressive Aspect
