No experience necessary, Sxc Scraps will teach you everything from threading a needle, to rhinestoning securely (no stones falling off over here), and eyeleting securely so they don’t rip out of your tie!
Materials:
All tools and materials are provided! Guidance and teaching for each technique is given, as well as advice if you’re not feeling sure on your final design or what to do :) Sxc Scraps is there to guide you, and can get you started and the creative juices flowing
A selection of ties are provided for you to choose from (first-come, first-served) are included in your ticket price! (Unless you have purchased a discounted Bring-Your-Own-Tie ticket, but you can always buy a tie from us on the day in case of emergency!)
About your host:
Sxc Scraps is run by a sewist of over 17 years, and has been a full-time sewing + sustainability teacher for over 2 years, running classes & workshops for all ages and skill levels.
Her mission: teaching people to extend the lifecycle of clothing and save as much textile waste from going to landfill - with style, slogans, and a bit of spice!
