Ready to get tactile, play with form, and sculpt your own vibrant characters from scratch? Join artist Estere Dzelme for an immersive, weekend-long sculpture workshop.
Over two days, you’ll dive into the satisfying process of building tactile, 3D forms using tinfoil armatures and mod roc. Whether you want to recreate a favourite memory like a couple cruising in a bright red sports car or sculpt a big pair of tits, this workshop is all about transforming simple, everyday materials into expressive, character-filled art.
What We'll Be Doing:
Day 1: Armature & Structure (Saturday, 25th July): Learn how to manipulate tinfoil to form a strong structural core, then layer it with mod roc to build up texture, volume, and shape.
Day 2: Painting & Details (Sunday, 26th July): Once the plaster is set, we’ll bring our sculptures to life with bold paints and fine details, focusing on giving your characters personality.
All Levels Welcome: No prior sculpting or plaster experience required. Just bring your curiosity, a willingness to get your hands messy, and an open mind.
