A Night at Gina's!
Down a side street, behind an unassuming green door… Step back in time to London's most legendary lesbian club.
An evening of live music, dancing, archive, cocktails, conversation and celebration inspired by the famous Gateways, where generations of women gathered to meet, dance, laugh and fall in love. The secret, iconic Chelsea venue that became a cherished meeting place for generations of lesbians and a cornerstone of queer history.
For one night, we'll revive the atmosphere of the club: good music, strong drinks, familiar faces and new friends. Expect live performances, archive and chat about the Gateways, a packed dancefloor with music from the 1950’s - 1980’s, vintage glamour and an unforgettable celebration of community, connection and nightlife.
Whether you're remembering the Gateways, discovering its history, (it was the longest running lesbian bar in the world!) or simply joining us for a wonderful night out, you're warmly invited.
This special evening pays tribute to this remarkable history and the women who kept the lights burning long before LGBTQ+ lives were celebrated openly.
Music. Dancing. Community. History.
The door is open. Come in!
