🌾 LAMMAS IN THE GARDEN, TAKE TWO 🌾
A Black British Folk Collective Celebration
We know, we know a Lammas celebration in September is a little belated! Thanks to a one month postponement, we're marking the first harvest a touch later than tradition dictates. But the garden will be all the lovelier for the wait, and honestly, some things are worth doing right rather than on time. 🌿
Lammas is about giving thanks for the earth's abundance and gathering in community as the season turns and that's exactly what this collective has been building all year. From launching our first folk club to bringing together dozens of BPOC folkies across the country, 2026 has been a year of roots taking hold. We're so proud of what's grown, and this celebration is our way of saying thank you to the artists, the folkies, and everyone who's been part of widening the circle.
So we're gathering again to nourish a growing movement of Black, Brown and Global Majority folk musicians, dancers, storytellers and crafters, and to celebrate all the joy, music and togetherness that folk can hold. 🍂✨
This evnt is open to all our allies.
