Join us for a craft workshop exploring queer memory through making.
Bring a haunted memory. Something from the past, yours or your communities, that still lives in your present. It might be a colour, a texture, a person, a place, a tradition, or a history you carry.
Together, we will make a textile swatch and decorate them based on your own haunted memory. No craft experience is required. You are welcome to bring your own materials like yarns, buttons, hooks, needles, thread if you wish.
About Lily
As a part of Lily's professional placement with Queerscapes, she has developed and will deliver this event. Lily is an MArch Architecture student at CSM whose research sits between queer theory, craft and memory. Lily is currently interested in queer histories and how they are alive today through the lens of hauntings, working with craft as a methodology.
