His poems reveal an interior life of complexity and dream, that looks into a singular identity's deep history. Black and homosexual, like several great artists, Celestine is a Queer literary beacon for today's reader. And what could be more Queer than a bevy of exquisites reading selections from his work. Join us to celebrate this great ancestor with "the old light in his eyes"!
