This is an open singing workshop for anyone who has ever wanted to sing, from 10am - 1pm at Mountview Academy in Peckham on Saturday 8th of August.
The workshop will include gentle movement, breathing exercises and ways into singing that don't require you to read music. We'll sing simple pop, folk, and protest songs that connect us with our joy, our power and our creativity!
This workshop is for you if:
- You're interested in joining South East London Queer Choir, and want to get a taster of what it's like before signing up
- You just want to sing for a few hours without committing to a regular choir
- You've never sung in a choir before but you'd like to give it a try
- The workshop is open to anyone but is very queer friendly and accessible for those with mobility issues or who are disabled.
Spots are limited so reserving a ticket is essential. Cost of attending is on a sliding scale.
