Time to dust off the cobwebs and welcome the spookiest season of all with a Lino Printing Workshop!
This workshop is made with begiiners in mind, so if you have never done lino printing before and want to give it a try, now is the best time to do so! As a technique, it can feel similar to pumpkin carving, only a lot more relaxed, less physically taxing, and no food waste (yay!). As you carve away areas you wish to leave as the paper colour, and what parts are left on the lino sheet will stick to the ink, giving you an image of your creation that has a stamp-like texture, and can be used on all sorts of materials.
You will be able to take your prints home with you to keep (maximum of 5 per person) along with your carved lino sheet for you to make more prints of your own, and guidance on how to transfer them safely home, alongside materials (cutting tools, inks, trays, rollers, paper) will be provided, however materials used to make the prints (inks, rollers, cutting tools and trays) must be returned once you have finished using them.
Food and Drink are not provided, if you wish to eat and drink, you will need to purchase this from the venue. Ticket costs cover the cost of my time, transport and materials, including maintenance of tools.
This is a strictly 18+ event due to the use of sharp objects, children will not be allowed to attend this event, including if they are accompanied by their parent (please note, if you book and bring your child/children, you will be asked to leave and not receive a refund).
Please do not wear your best clothing, as printing ink may get on your clothes and stain them!
