Hey Griefsters,
I've decided to produce a Grief Cabaret on my dad's bday (11 Oct 2026) as a celebration of all things dead/ that we're grieving/ things we wish were still here or things we WISH were dead (crapitalism anyone?)
The inaugural Grief Cabaret will feature some of London's silliest, darkest, big feels, weird, moaning performers sharing acts about such griefy topics as their dead parent to their old gender to their toxic ex to that broken sex toy that's somewhere in the bottom of a drawer.
Line-up TBC
Host: Carlos Al Dick
Doors open at 6pm
Show starts at 6.30pm
There will be an interval (20 mins)
End time: approx 9pm (cos it's a Sunday and grief waits for no one).
Ticket fees set on a sliding scale and those with dead dads can Pay What You Feel. Orphans get in for free (msg me for an orphan ticket code).
Let's celebrate the silly, absurd, ridiculous, hard, scary, sad, queer and WTF out of grief together!
🖤This whole event is made possible by and in loving celebration of Mo Recinos (a sound guy)🖤
