Dating in 2026 can be hard. Who doesn't have app fatigue? Join us at The London Art Bar for an IRL dating experience like no other - this time, all for the LGBTQ+ community.
Pitch Your Friend (LGBTQ+) follows the same format as our regular events, but all of the people being pitched will be LGBTQ+. Whether you're gay, bi, lesbian, trans, queer or anywhere on the spectrum, if you're single and want your friend to make the case for you to a room full of wonderful people, this is your night.
Your pitcher doesn't have to be LGBTQ+ themselves - a straight or cis friend who knows you better than anyone is more than welcome to take the mic for you. And if you want to bring a straight friend along for moral support as an audience member, they're warmly welcome too.
If you're pitching: create a 3-5 minute slide deck that shows off all the best things about your friend and take to the mic. You might just be playing cupid!
We'll have time for mingling in the break and after the pitches — plenty of time to work your charm if someone catches your eye.
Not pitching? There are plenty of audience spots and you'll still get to join in with the mingling.
Hosted by Gareth, who also runs the LGBTQ+ Meetup group at The London Art Bar — now in its fourth year.
Doors open at 7PM, presentations from 8PM.
Key info for pitchers: Please arrive close to 7PM so we can run through the tech. Slides in Google Slides or PowerPoint format — please send to hello@garethlewis.co no later than 10PM the day before. Please be mindful of your friend's privacy when making your presentation. Questions or accessibility needs? hello@garethlewis.co
