YES! We can't wait to welcome Shropshire's finest to the MAC house. We've tempted Wrekin Havoc's Stu and Rich down to the Thanet coast for an autumn extravaganza - without a doubt, these guys have been both making and playing some of our most-loved music of the past few years.
Not content with creating some of the best Balearic-disco productions and edits out there (the ones all your favourite DJs - not least DJ Harvey - have been hammering), they've also been barnstorming the UK's most discerning festivals such as Rotation Garden Party and Wildwood, with their sets routinely described by dancers as the best of the weekend, as well as playing legendary locations such as Pikes in Ibiza and Todmorden's The Golden Lion.
Crate diggers extraordinaire, Stu and Rich will be reaching deep into their vaults for this one, with a four-hour set that digs deep into their collections - expect the chugged-out, the bugged-out, the weird, the wild, the warm and the wonky… Unshazamable? ABOUT WREKIN HAVOC
Wrekin Havoc are a collective of DJs, producers, edit fiends and dedicated crate diggers. After decades spent DJing, producing and editing separately, they joined forces in 2022 and haven't looked back since, releasing a steady stream of exceptional leftfield edits that have been played by all your favourite DJs.
In 2025 their EP for Talking Drums on the Drum Chums label went stratospheric after receiving heavy support from DJ Harvey - the magnificent Shine A Light became a fixture in Harvey's sets in the greatest clubs across the globe. Alongside their edits, Wrekin Havoc have released two EPs of original heat for Balearic institution Is It Balearic? and more recently, have been applying the Havoc edit touch to various releases, including BJ Smith's Outkast reworks for NuNorthern Soul, Let The Moonshine In by Moondata for Leng Records, and (perhaps the summer 2026 anthem) Beat Of Summer by Orbs of Light. As part of Rotation Sound System, alongside Dean Meredith and Ben Shenton, they compiled 2025's acclaimed compilation Everything You're About To Hear Is True, with Volume Two due this autumn.
Behind the decks, Wrekin Havoc have long been residents at Rotation Garden Party - a proper heads' affair: a weekend-long dance gathering in a yurt deep in the Staffordshire countryside, centred around an audiophile four-way Klipschorn sound system, beautiful surroundings, great people and exceptional music. Over the years they've shared the billing with the likes of Idjut Boys, Mark Seven, Make A Dance, Nancy Noise, Luke Una, Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy, Bill Brewster, Richard Sen and Piers Harrison. These days they favour a handful of carefully chosen appearances each year, bringing the Havoc sound to festivals, clubs and parties including Wildwood Festival, Pikes, The Golden Lion and Radar in Athens... and now Margate Arts Club.
