Hackney Bridge has a FIT terrace for sunset cocktails, chats and flirts, then as it gets dark we have DJs playing all your favourite slaggy queer bangers, a mix of pop and R&B. We'll announce DJs/performers and some new special treats closer to the time on IG.
We'll have a missed connections box to help you find all the hot people you saw sunning themselves earlier in the day, a temporary tattoo station and expect more fun announcements to come as we celebrate the FIFTH year of the big queer picnic.
The night will be held at Block C in Hackney Bridge. There will be a full detailed access post on the @bigqueerpicnic instagram, but any further questions can be directed to Abi at bqpevents@gmail.com
Free tickets are available for carers/personal access support workers. We also have low income/free tickets available for those who need them. No one is turned away because of lack of funds, please message. If you are a queer person currently seeking asylum, please DM us for a free ticket.
Hackney Bridge is wheelchair accessible. ‘Access Requirements' tickets are available for those with access needs, this will guarantee a reserved seat. There will be an access co-ordinator present to assist those with access needs.
There is a cloakroom available.
As with all Big Queer Picnic events, this event is open to queer people of all genders, but the night centres queer women, trans and non-binary people. We ask all cis men in attendance to respect the space they have been welcomed in to.
