in hurricane diane by madeleine george, we meet Diane, a butch lesbian gardener and also human manifestation of the greek god dionysus. the show unfolds as she (he? they?) attempts to reinstate her army and re-wild the earth that we, humanity, have ruined. penned-in by picket fences and perfectly trimmed hedgerows, diane sets her seductive sights on a cul-de-sac of four housewives. the perfect amount to re-establish her band of worshippers…

i love this ridiculous show and wanted to put it on with my friends. this is a chill script-in-hand reading so we can get a feel for the play's liveness.
