On the 23rd of August we will be celebrating the revolutionary legacy of Notting Hill Carnival! - The resistance, the networks of care and support that carried folks through resisting the state and greiving the murder of Kelso Cochrane which sparked the protests which then became Notting Hill Carnival as we know it today,
We will be holding community conversations on the work of Claudia Jones, Olive morris and celebrating their sacrifices that enable us as Black, Darkskinned Trans & Queer people to exist & resist.
Hosted @thecommonpress Dalston, we will be gathering for reflection, grief, celebration & gyration.
There will be Community Conversation, Refreshments, DJ's and more!
