Terms & Conditions

1. Pilates Class Waiver & Studio Policies: Please read the following carefully before attending your Reformer or Mat Pilates class. By booking and attending a class, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms.
2. Health & Medical Declaration: You confirm that you are physically fit and able to participate in Pilates classes. You agree to inform your instructor before class of any injuries, medical conditions, recent surgeries, or anything that may affect your ability to exercise safely. If you are unsure whether Pilates is appropriate for you, please seek advice from your healthcare professional before attending.
2a. You understand that participation is at your own risk and that, while every effort is made to provide a safe environment, no responsibility can be accepted for injuries sustained during class except where required by law.
3. Pregnancy Policy: The safety of both you and your baby is our priority. It is generally not recommended to begin Reformer Pilates for the first time during pregnancy. If you were already attending Pilates classes before becoming pregnant, you may continue exercising with appropriate modifications. From your second trimester onwards, classes should only be attended if you have already established a Pilates practice and your instructor is aware of your pregnancy.
3a. We ask that you notify us of your pregnancy before attending so appropriate modifications can be provided. Participation during pregnancy is at your own discretion and should only take place following advice from your healthcare provider.
4. Cancellation Policy: Bookings can be cancelled up to 12 hours before class start time. Any classes booked are non-refundable within 12 hours of class start time.
5. Late Arrival Policy: Doors will be locked at the scheduled class start time, and late entry is not permitted to avoid disrupting the class and for everyone's safety. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the class start time to allow time to settle in and prepare. If you arrive after the doors have been locked, please email us. Where possible, we will be happy to reschedule your class for another available session.
6. Reformer Pilates: Socks must be worn for all Reformer Pilates classes for hygiene and safety reasons. Grip socks are strongly recommended as they provide better traction and stability on the equipment, helping to reduce the risk of slipping. Please follow all instructor guidance regarding the safe use of the Reformer.
6a. Any damage caused through misuse of equipment may result in you being held responsible for repair or replacement costs.
7. Personal Belongings: Please keep personal belongings in the designated area. We cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
8. Photography & Marketing: From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during classes for promotional purposes. We will always seek your permission before using any identifiable images of you.
9. Hands-On Assistance & Consent: To help you get the most out of your class, your instructor may occasionally offer hands-on guidance to help improve your alignment, movement, or body awareness. Hands-on assistance is always optional and will only be given with your consent. Before class, you will have the opportunity to let your instructor know whether you are happy to receive hands-on adjustments.
9a. You are welcome to change your preference at any time during the class, for any reason, by simply letting your instructor know. If you would prefer not to receive hands-on assistance, your instructor will instead provide verbal or visual cues to support your practice. We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment where your comfort, autonomy, and personal boundaries are always respected.
10. Minimum Age Requirement Participants must be 18 years of age or older to attend Reformer or Mat Pilates classes. By booking a class, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
11. Agreement: By booking and attending a class, you confirm that: You have read and understood these policies. You have disclosed any relevant health conditions or injuries. You participate voluntarily and accept responsibility for your own wellbeing during class. You agree to abide by all studio policies outlined above.
