Want to try Bachata but not sure where to start? This crash course is your first step. In one relaxed evening with Laura you'll get the rhythm, the connection and the movement that make Bachata so fun, and you'll be ready to start the new term in January with confidence. It's going to be awesome 😎
Who's this for: complete beginners, and anyone who wants to strengthen their basics. No dance experience needed and no partner needed, we rotate so everyone dances with everyone.
What to expect:
🎶 Rhythm and timing so you can feel the beat and move with it
👣 Basic steps and simple turns you can take straight onto the social floor
🤝 Partner connection, learning both leading and following with confidence built through repetition and clear technique
This is your space to start – no partner, no pressure, no judgement, just you, the music and a room full of people learning together 🌈
🍻 Stick around afterwards, we head to the pub for drinks and a chat, and it's a big part of the night.

Laura is a passionate partner dance advocate who teaches a range of styles. She breaks gender norms to empower FLINTA dancers through creative expression and connection, and she'll have you leading and following with confidence.
