Club Bananas (in collaboration with The Peckham Pelican) invites you to an evening of revolutionary collaging❕
The theme is Collage for Change ✴️
Prompts include: activism, feminism, equality, gender equality, LGBTQ+ pride, climate change, anti-racism, anti-war, protest, wealth equality (tax the rich!), rebellion, revolution, peace, re-imagining society, utopias and future worlds/ societies 🌎 ☮️
The power of community action (through simply sitting together and making art) can sometimes be overlooked as a form of protest. In this workshop, we will be exploring ideas of change through the form of collaging. 🪜🕯️
The theme is open to interpretation, it could be that you wish to explore change in yourself or your own life, or it can be taken as investigating ideas of the change you wish to see in larger society ⚖️ 💸
The collages we make can be used as posters for upcoming protests or can be displayed as thought provoking art pieces (to take home and inspire positive forms of change in your own world). 🌠
✔️ All materials are provided! Feel free to bring any extra supplies (e.g- stickers, magazines, books, print-outs, newspapers, articles, your scrapbook/ favourite sketchbook). 🍀
