The Prohibition Cabaret is Nottingham's ALL-STAR monthly drag revue, dripping in decadence with gag-worthy glamour and show-stopping entertainment ✨
Powerhouse performers from the UK drag circuit flock together for one of the most exciting evenings the city has to offer, brought to you with love by the hairiest woman in showbusinesses and the broadest broad on Broad Street - Liv.
Our Thursday 3rd September show is a return following a Summer break (allowing Liv to put on the Notts Pride mainstage, work in various car parks across the Midlands and spend a week in Scarborough), featuring the sensational:
💋 RHYS' PIECES (they/them)
Rhys is a UK cabaret legend and London drag icon, having won Lipsync1000 (Europe's largest lip-sync competiition) in 2018 and being awarded QX Cabaret Awards ‘Best Variety Act’ in 2019 - not to mention the QUEERDOS Cabaret, OMOS Project and R U Looking sober queer night!
Just this summer they worked with Jessie J, hosted endless festival stages including Glastonbury - Rhys brings sass and panache to every stage they grace with dazzling burlesque, original raps and fierce lip-syncs - get ready to be entertained, Nottingham!
🪱 PORTIA POTTY (she/her)
A Notts icon in her own right, Portia Potty is edgy, irresistible and f*cking loves Horror films! She dominated the Notts Pride Winter Ball stage as a conga-leading, glow-stick lobbing gogo queen and is known to demolish a Dragaoke Sunday at The Lord Roberts - watch out, she's coming…
⭐️ GIA (she/they)
The leather and lace angel of Nottingham! Gia is a pure beauty known for equal parts gentle grace and deadly stunts, she stormed the Notts Pride mainstage this Summer with a killer gogo set that set the crowd alight!
🫦 AURA FIXATION (she/her)
Aura Fixation is the supermodel of Norwich making her way over for her Nottingham debut! She is a resident Queen at Yalm Drag Bingo in Norwich and star of the legendary Norwich Arts Centre stage, prepare to be bedazzled by the mug of East Anglia…
🔮 MYSTIK (she/her)
The new girl in town… who is she, what doe she want, and why is she so sexy and mysterious? Mystik is the newest name on the Notts drag scene who will be making her drag debut on The Prohibition Stage!
Feel free to arrive at The Lord Roberts as early as you please for pre-show tipples

ACCESSIBILITY INFO
Due to the historic nature of the Lord Roberts Pub (built 1936-37) accessibility is unfortunately low.

We sincerely apologise to those who are unable to access the Prohibition Cabaret and will continue to identify ways to improve access and advocate for improvement across Nottingham's Drag and LGBTQ+ scene.
GENERAL
The Prohibition Cabaret is a seated show that uses dramatic lighting and sound, and will contain flashing lights (strobing is not used often if at all).
The Lord Roberts serves a range of low and non-alcoholic drinks, and a variety of crisps, nuts and scampi fries. The bar is upstairs so please collect your drinks and snacks before heading down for the show.
VENUE ACCESS:
The entrance to The Lord Roberts Pub is step-free, however there is a stairway downstairs into the Prohibition Cabaret space.
The stairway consists of:
- 2 steps down, a landing
- 5 steps down, a landing
- 6 steps down, step-free entrance to the Cabaret space
Each step is 20cm high and there is a handrail all the way down.
We are more than happy to welcome you before doors open to make your way into the space at your own pace.
We can also reserve seating for you, and have limited space for storing mobility aids and wheelchairs within the venue.
TOILETS
Unfortunately The Lord Roberts does not have a dedicated disabled toilet, however both Guys and Dolls toilets have step-free access.
Please note the Guys toilets are down one 15cm step which can be covered with a ramp.
The Dolls toilets consist of two cubicles, and the Guys toilets consist of two cubicles and four urinals, please use whichever toilet you feel most comfortable in.
If you face any discriminatory or discourteous behaviour in the toilets please inform Liv or a member of the bar team immediately, as this will not be tolerated.
