We’re teaming up with The Running Room Battersea and taking LES RUN all the way West to Battersea Park!
Come join us for a Sunday morning run, followed by a post-run fuel, teach in on strength and conditioning for runners, and a little look behind the scenes at how we actually run at The Running Room’s gait lab.
We’ll meet at 9:30am at The Running Room, heading off at 10am for a chilled, social 5k trot around Battersea Park with different pace groups for different speeds.
Once we’re back, there’ll be a post-run refuel before we’ll learn from physio Adele about strength & conditioning for runners to help us run better, prevent injuries and generally help keep us in one piece . Adele is a physiotherapist originally from Scotland, currently working at TRR in Battersea who loves working with the active population and helping people from all backgrounds get back to the sports and activities they enjoy following an injury or niggle. Adele is passionate about helping the girls, gays and theys feel confident in the gym whether they’re new to strength training or simply nervous about getting started. She aims to empower her clients to lift heavy, get strong and build resilience.
We’ll also get a chance to have a look around The Running Room’s gait lab and see how they assess our trotting technique!
