Playful Drawing Workshop
Be taken through various activities to playfully draw and have fun discovering drawing tips.

Each attendee will be gifted a Top Tips Guide Zine Poster.
What will happen at the workshop?
The first part will be for exploring drawing tips. These activites are designed to help you loosen up, have fun, and get drawing playfully. There might be activities that include swapping paper. If you would rather not do this, please add a note at booking / contact the facilitator in advance so she can plan accordingly.
The next part will be for you to spend time playing more with the drawing tips you want to play more with. You will be invited to create a zine of your favourite tips! No pressure to make a zine - playfully drawing will always be the priority.
The last 10-15 minutes will be for anyone who would like to share their experience / zine / drawing(s).
Who can join?
No previous experience required.
Suitable for novices, drawing explorers, and all playful types.
Minimum age is 12 who should be accompanied by an Adult they know. Thanks!
What should you bring?
Basic materials will be provided, such as colouring pencils/pens and A5/A4 paper.
There will be a table and chair to work at.
Feel free to bring along your own colouring / drawing tools - get out those tools you've been meaning to use!
What if I'm late?
This is a 2-hour workshop. There's plenty of time to explore and play.
Please, do try to arrive in the first 15 minutes to make the best use of the time!
Workshop facilitator bio:
P. R. Kaur Gibbons (she/her) is an art making linguist based in London. She uses colour to storytell visually. Her preferred mediums are watercolour, pens, pencils, crayon and collage. Her art making work helps her connect with her mother tongue, Punjabi, and explore her feelings. Zines are her go-to. Ask her about them!
