ACCESSIBILITY
We would like everyone to be able to enjoy live music at St Giles', and we're happy to help you plan your visit.
Please note this is is a Grade 2* listed church and we will do our very best to accommodate all accessibility needs including a companion ticket if required.
There is an accessible ramp providing step-free access into the church.
The church retains its original pews, so all seating is bench-style rather than individual chairs. We're happy to reserve a space for wheelchair users or anyone who needs it.
St Giles' does not currently have an permanent accessible toilet on site. This is something we're actively working to address with the Diocese. An accessible event toilet will be at your disposal. We apologise in advance for the inconvenience this causes are are looking to improve facilities.

ABOUT ORGANOKE
Now celebrating ten years, ORGANOKE is London's original live karaoke experience, pitting karaoke classics against a full live band and a historic church organ in the spiritual surrounds of St Giles', Camberwell.
Created in 2016 by Jordana, Tom and Organist supremo Ashley, they set out to raise awareness and funds for the restoration of the church's 1844 organ with an attempted Guinness World Record Organ Marathon. They thought karaoke with the organ would make a fun segment, so they added a five piece band, bought a projector and screen, and enlisted the help of hostess Ida Barr, and thus ORGANOKE was born. What started as a one off fundraiser has since grown into a beloved Camberwell institution, drawing fun loving party people from across the city for nights of mass singalong joy. Profits raised from ORGANOKE go towards the ongoing maintenance and future restoration of the organ at St Giles'.

Live At St Giles CIC was created and founded by passionate Camberwell locals Jordana and Tom Leighton are who were married at St Giles in 2011. St Giles is a working church, and shows are carefully curated to respect the spirituality and sanctity of the space, offering a captivating backdrop for classical and contemporary live music, bringing artists closer to their audiences than ever before. Organist Ashley Valentine is a South London-based musician, Director of Music at St Giles' Church Camberwell. A classically trained musician who became a church organist at age 12, he specialises in live accompaniment for silent films. He is passionate about the restoration of St Giles’ historic organ, affectionately known as “Seb”. @organ_ised
Kit Green is an artist working across theatre, music, experiential performance, comedy and cabaret, focusing on entertainment, social justice, gender and above all, hope. Her character Ida Barr is based on a real English music hall star. She has wowed audiences all over the world with her shows including Artificial Hip Hop, Get Old or Die Trying, and Last Christmas (Possibly) and had her own Radio 4 series. @kit_green
