Summer is moving on and we’re outside for our next gathering of the Q’nC Club. This is a gently moving session of Sing & Strolling led by Catherine Pestano, from Creative Croydon. We’ll have a slow mindful stroll around South Norwood Lake, interspersed with singing of gentle nature and queer friendly song. No skill or experience is needed and all voices are precious and welcome.
You’re welcome to participate at your own pace, come for just a few steps or simply listen if you prefer as we mosey round.
Catherine Pestano is a singing for wellbeing facilitator and part of the LGBTQIA+ community. She offers easy access community singing in Croydon as well as menopause and SLOW Croydon programmes.

What to Expect
A relaxed and uplifting session of gentle singing and ambling, being mindful in nature. We’ll have a welcome for observers, anyone just looking to offer presence over participation.
There will be some snacks and beverages available, after the session, up two flights of stairs. If you need flat access let us know asap in advance and we will see what can be accommodated (needs a booking with another agency but we can possibly arrange). While we have a set start and finish, the structure is relaxed and we can accommodate later arrivals, you can call and we will not be moving quickly so you can catch us easily. There will also be access to a toilet up one flight of stairs, again if you need more full access please let us know asap.
What to bring
Brolly or suncream, water and suitable outdoor walking attire for the weather! We'll have a large communal blanket for use after our walk (weather permitting) but feel free to bring any extra blankets. While we have tea and some snacks on offer, please feel free to bring anything you may wish to enjoy or share.
