Walthamstow Trans Pride 2026
That’s right, it’s the third Walthamstow Trans Pride.
We’ll be blunt. It’s been a challenging year to be trans, as we’ve seen institutions and politicians continue to make day-to-day life more difficult. It has been easy to feel hopeless.
But we pulled together and had each other’s backs. Because we want to, and because we need to.
And that’s why we’re doing things a little differently this year.
Instead of pouring money into a single moment, we’re focusing on sustained community care. For the event, we want you to get pampered, get resourced and celebrate our local community. After the event, we’re excited to announce the Walthamstow Trans Pride Community Solidarity Fund to help trans people in our borough to receive the care they need. All the profits we raise from the event will go straight into that pot. Because talking about solidarity is nice, but materially doing it is better.
What to expect
Our doors will open at 4pm. We’ll be hosting workshops, sharing resources, spotlighting queer makers, and feeding you with a community meal. As always, we’ll be entertaining you with drag performances, live music and a surprise DJ in the evening. All performances will be curated by sTink, a trans-led ANTIFA performance collective blending cabaret, protest and community care.
So come one, come all. Meet your neighbours, kiss your friends, learn a new thing, get radical, be entertained and help us raise funds for the trans people of Waltham Forest. We need you here, and we want you here.
Walthamstow Trans Pride is a grassroots, community-led, trans+ centred event. We exist to celebrate trans pride, create a space for mutual exchange and have a good time.
