BASEMENT
3PM–5PM: Dance Class - Press Play 💜s Konpa with Lexxi & Sammi (Limited spaces)
Book your spot on our 2-hour partner dance class exploring the rhythms, connection, movement and energy of Konpa. The class is structured around partner dancing with one lead + one follow per pair. No matter your experience, come ready to learn, move and have fun.
5PM–6PM: Open dance social (Optional)
The class doesn't have to end when the teaching does.
Stay in the basement for an open dance social to practise what you've learned, freestyle, connect with other dancers and simply enjoy the space.
6PM–10PM: PRESS PAUSE - Chill Zone
The basement becomes a space to slow down, recharge, reflect, hang out and take in the atmosphere away from the dancefloor.

PRESS PLAY is a space to meet new faces, reconnect with familiar ones and build community.
6PM–10PM: THE PRESS PLAY SOUNDTRACK
As the afternoon turns into evening, the DJs take over the ground floor.
🎧 6PM–7PM: TIMON
Opening with deep, soulful and Afro house grooves to ease us into the evening.
🎧 7PM–8PM: HYPERLEZ
Bringing another layer of groove and flair to the room.
🎧 8PM–9PM: THE LIONESSE
Disco, house, R&B and new jack swing; the energy keeps on rising.
🎧 9PM–10PM: CARMEN LONDON
Closing out PRESS PLAY #003 with a final push towards the dancefloor, bringing the dancehall heat and Afrobeats.
From soulful house and Afro-electronic sounds to disco, club edits, R&B, and Afro-Caribbean influences, carefully curated to take you on a journey.
Every selector brings their own flavour, and by the end, we'll all be on the dancefloor.
