Discover tools for unblocking creativity, remove long-held and short-term creative blocks and negative beliefs, sharpen confidence and clarity in your creative output, and nourish a community of FLINTA* artists, creatives, freelancers, and budding creatives, finding peers, supporters, and future collaborators for your work.
Finding The Artist's Way is a twelve week, in-person, group course for FLINTA* artists and creatives of all disciplines, teaching Julia Cameron's transformative 'The Artist's Way' in full.
Each weekly session lasts two hours total, with co-working in the cafe afterwards encouraged. Sessions include a reading of the chapter, group discussion, guided, individual, written exercises, and the opportunity to share about your progress and experience. Optional work at home is also available between sessions.
Finding The Artist's Way is suitable for artists and creatives of all disciplines, including but not limited to; visual art, music, performance, writing, dance, fashion, design, film, photography, making, crafts, drag, creative business management, marketing, and all other creative and artistic fields.
You do not have to currently be working in a creative field as your core profession. If you feel drawn to complete the course, then book your place. A typical cohort includes award-winning writers, exhibiting painters, and tech professionals who have rediscovered their flair for ceramics. The idea is that we learn from each other and can aide each other in propelling our careers forward.
The course is guided by a trans-masc, queer, disabled, musician, and writer, with a background in visual art. 🏳️⚧️ 🏳️🌈
