Daniel Pearl, cinematographer for Tobe Hooper's original, returns and does something entirely different yet still just as grimy and gorgeous as the visuals that made Leatherface's spree so memorable to begin with.
Vicious, detailed, and evocative, this one's a remake truly worth its salt.
