I'm incredibly excited to welcome a very special international guest to the studio — all the way from Finland, the fabulous Lala L’More!
An experienced burlesque performer, producer and teacher, Lala has been part of the Finnish burlesque scene for many years, performing both at home and internationally and bringing her own distinctive combination of classic burlesque glamour, confidence and stage presence to audiences across Europe. She was also awarded Best of Classic at the 2022 Croatian Burlesque & Cabaret Festival — so this really is a wonderful opportunity to learn from an accomplished international performer.
Lala L'More has 10+ years of experience in burlesque, of which she has taught almost seven years starting from hen do workshops, and advancing to teach on four different skill levels in addition to coaching groups and solo artists. She has taken her workshops all around the world, as far as USA and Canada, and taught hundreds of hobbyists and professionals alike.
Lala's background as a teacher comes from several years of dancing, music education and finally, educational sciences in university. Her priority as a teacher is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and make burlesque fun and comfortable to different ages, abilities, sizes and shapes.
And the best bit? You don’t have to be an experienced performer to take part.
This special guest session has been designed to be accessible to both beginners and intermediate students. Whether you’ve only recently discovered burlesque, have been coming to classes for a while, or already have some performance experience under your rhinestoned belt, there will be something here for you.
One of the joys of learning burlesque is discovering that it isn’t simply about learning steps. It’s about how you move, how you hold yourself, how you connect with an audience and, perhaps most importantly, how you begin to recognise and develop your own individual style.
Learning from different performers is a fantastic way to do that.
Every burlesque artist brings something different to their craft, and having the opportunity to work with an international guest allows us to explore new techniques, ideas and approaches that we might not ordinarily encounter in our regular classes.
Expect an encouraging, playful session where you can learn, experiment and perhaps push yourself just a little outside your usual comfort zone — without any pressure to be “perfect”.
If you’re a beginner, please don’t look at the words international performer and think, “This isn’t for me yet.” It absolutely is! You don’t need performance experience, and you certainly don’t need to arrive feeling confident. Workshops like this are about building confidence, not proving you already have it.
For our more experienced and intermediate students, this is a chance to look more closely at performance quality, polish, musicality and those little details that can transform movement into something that really commands attention.
Most of all, it’s an opportunity to spend time learning from another woman who understands the wonderfully diverse, creative and empowering world of burlesque.
Opportunities to welcome international artists into our own studio don’t come along every day, so I’m delighted to be able to offer this one.

Boas and gloves will be provided, just bring water!
Please wear comfortable clothing and preferably dance shoes or bare feet. No trainers please.
