John Fawcett's supreme cult classic - and foundational precursor to films like Jennifer's Body (2009) - is treasured to this day in large part thanks to the lead performances from Katharine Isabelle (American Mary, NBC's Hannibal) and Emily Perkins (Juno) as the stressed and depressed sisters who fend off boredom by staging suicides for photos and making blood pacts in their bedroom.
Ginger Snaps (2000) screens from a rare VHS tape, and we can't think of a better way to start off month two of our extended Halloween programme.
